Edina vs. Duluth East – State Hockey Final
Last night Edina played Duluth East at the Excel Center in St. Paul. It was really fun to take photos at this venue – the game itself was exciting but the venue being a pro hockey arena afforded me some exception lighting to take pictures.
With my new Nikon D3s I was able to go to a shutter speed of 1/1600s, f5.6 and still have an ISO of about 3,000 on average – was great. Below are some sample images from the game. The one downside of course was that Duluth East had black uniforms!! But it all worked out.
